Good afternoon all!

This morning I have been switched over from BT to SSE Ultrafast Fibre.
Just got back from work, and did a few speedtests.

Speedtest based on fastest ping:

First impression... Abysmal...

Fast.com : 25mbps

BTW: 50.05mbps down, 16.82mbps up





Pretty shocked to be honest... Upload seems comparable to BT, download is very poor...

Will add a test after 20:00hr.

very selective traffic management. Upload not affected at all, download throttled massively.
Sites where I used to download 2Gb files in a couple of minutes now take more than half an hour... Just plain ridiculous.
This can't be due to congestion or high usage, not if the upload speeds are not affected...

Gaming seems a bit on and off.

But I pay for fast broadband. Period. Not fast on some websites, and utterly useless on other websites.

Looks like BT has a customer coming back to them...

I just did 50 speedtests over the last 24 hours. I leave it up to you to determine which part of the graph shows night time (00:00hr until 08:30hr) download speeds...
