Good speeds? Please traceroute

Are you currently receiving good peak speeds? If so, could you please run a traceroute on your connection to www.bbc.co.uk and post your results below? We are trying to work out which are the congested gateways on the Daisy service which is causing low speeds for some users.

If you don't know how to do it, please look for the command prompt in Windows (the old DOS system) and type in tracert www.bbc.co.uk and then hit the return button. Please then copy & paste the results to this thread.

Mmm.. Not too sure, my previous speed tests I had recorded previously (which included trace routes for bbc) showed it via 86, but that had really good speeds and also really bad speeds. - We will see later tonight how things go.

I can only hop between 86 & 87 and am having terrible peak speeds. Others on 88 seem to be receiving full speeds. This is just my theory, hence the request for traceroutes to try and see a pattern.

You might be onto something then. That would explain why I had good and bad speeds on 86, and maybe so far only good on 88.

I'll keep checking and let you know what it is like later.
