First bill received
So, the first bill has arrived and it is incorrect.... Why doesn't that surprise me?
Nothing major, the total amount is £20.41 (not sure how they got that amount?) but it clearly shows a charge for caller display. Caller display is not activated on my line and I have already told them and asked them to activate it to no avail. Hopefully it won't be as much of a saga as the speed issue was (ongoing).

Re: First bill received
It must be less than the £21 because of a part month.
How did you get the bill so soon though ? - I was connected at the beginning of June but told it is quarterly billing so won't get my first bill until September.

Re: First bill received
I questioned the quarterly billing at the beginning and was told their system couldn't handle monthly billing as it was set up for power. However, the operator did say that I wold still be paying monthly. It also looks like you are correct about the billing cycle.:

Interesting breakdown on the discounts. How come one shows as monthly and the other June - December?

Good point, I have no idea. Something else for me to bring up with them though

Re: First bill received
The total charge is £21 forever, maybe they just display it on the bill in an odd way. Guess the contract they sent in the welcome pack is ultimately what you've committed to. Hopefully but an oddity of their billing system (Vodafones is equally odd)

Sorry yes 18 months.
I meant to say £21 for the duration of the contract. When did you ask to add Caller ID or did they just take that from your last line?

Re: First bill received
In my letter that I received once my service went live, it said all services already on the line would be transferred over. I had caller id with Plusnet, but it certainly hasn't carried over, but is most definitely billed for.....
