Speed Test Results - Admin

fast.com is netflix. Try netflix and see if you can hold 1080p or try youtube and see if you can hold 4k. Try this at 9pm. Noone can hold these formats at this time. Speeds are faked on common speedtest sites.

I'm not sure it is 'faked' speeds on the speed test sites as that wouldn't explain why I am able to download large files from various (non speed test sites) such as this one, and they downloaded at maximum speed.

I don't use Netflix so cannot comment on streaming through that, but I watched a film via Amazon Prime Video last night (HD) and there was no buffering at all with that.

I'll try Youtube tonight and see what that is like and report back.

I've tried several 4K Youtube videos between 9pm and 11pm (just now) and have had no buffering issues at all. All streamed without any buffering.

There is something wrong at the moment. Everything is running exceptionally slow and for the first time all the speed test results are coming back exceptionally poor.
