I'm experiencing the same slow downs that other people are noticing.
I've reported this to SSE and they have suggested a 'SPI2 Engineer' to visit my property for further testing. I've explained to them that this isn't going to be much use as the problem is clearly not at my property....
I've just downloading the JD download tester and am taking speed tests every 60 minutes to record the speed issues.

Initial tests yesterday on TBB speed checker returned 75/19
Rerunning the test today gave 65/17 - not bad for 14.15hrs in the school hols
BT speed test shows 73/17
Happy so far
