So I signed using TCB on the 2nd June 16, and got a couple of emails later that night.
Was recommended I will get 80Mb
Got an email from BT to say my service will turn over to sse on the 27th, and to contact them before the 23rd if I want to cancel
16th(today) I come home to find my welcome pack and router TG589vac
Will need to get an engineer as I have never had fibre before and will need the faceplate changed.
I will keep you updated.

The engineer visited on Monday and swapped the faceplate and all was fine. The wireless range seems to be better than on the hub 4.
Some a few speed test and this is where it is going wrong. At 6 am it is fine, and during the day, nearly getting 80, but as soon as it gets to evening, it is down to under 6, can't even stream Netflix at 4k, which I could do on my ADSL.
Will do another speed test tomorrow morning, and tomorrow evening, but will be making a proper complaint if it doesn't get better soon.

Seems to be a common problem which they are sweeping under the carpet

After 7 weeks I was allowed to leave SSE penalty free.
Customer service I had was outstanding and the person who dealt with my issue (Stuart M) kept me upto speed all the time, jusdt a pity the broadband wasnt as good.
All connected back to BT, and it all seems well, apart from them blocking some sites.
