Have you raised a complaint with them at all? (sorry, can't remember). If you run the auto test on testmy.net you will be able to see the peaks and troughs in a graph. It makes it easier to send to SSE to show the problem.

Ah yes, I remember now. It was you that said SSE were having a meeting with Daisy. Funnily enough, since then my speeds have been good. They did send me a new router and filter, but I have gone back to the original and my filtered faceplate and there is no difference. I am still monitoring my line though, as I have read of people whose line has improved then declined again a week or so later. A real shame they can't get to the bottom of your issue though :(

Nope not me said anything about a meeting

I think the issue is SSE not buying enough capacity from Daisy

Sorry, got you confused with someone else

Definitely congestion. Have you managed to get any joy from the BTW tester? I was "lucky" enough to catch the low speeds with it, so they have the evidence they needed of a slowdown on my line, even though I was providing multiple other evidence also.

Just run 2 tests and it is suffering a bit this afternoon:

Yes luckily i got a 5.25mb one this afternoon , usually they don't register if i get a slow one and timeout , which in its self seems a bit dodgy !

Allegedly they store the results for 48 hours, so make sure your contact knows there is a bad test there and they can retrieve it. I was also given the password for my router as I followed the additional testing route which meant changing username and password in the router.
