Losing the will to live... How did I survive on 9600Nps dial up? Oh that's right, I remember now as that is almost the service I am receiving

With the
exception of this morning, that looks a similar(ish) shape to my (differently tested) results over a similar period, namely

{as an aide, note the consistant, non-collapsing uplink -
imho this isn't congestion per se - it's prioritisation for limited bandwidth}
Methinks, at the moment, you are on a different Daisy gateway (easy to identify, but would achieve little really), hence my pipe is much happier than yours at the moment ....
This is a good example of why different people have issues at different times, or not at all - there are many variables involved - one being which gateway you are connected to ....
I know none of this helps your (well, our) situation(s) at all, but SSE effectively blaming your sync to the cabinet, which could be easily be eliminated by them having a thorough look at your router stats, is obviously not helpful in this situation. ...

PN had a similar problem with a congested gateway back when I first signed with them (so about 18 months ago) and you had to gateway hop to get off the bad one and onto a good one. Problem is, we don't know which one(s) is the bad one with SSE, so not a lot of point hopping.
That said, I have had to drop the session several times to gain access to the Tap3 tests and gain a BT ip address to test. I never checked what I was on before and what I was on after. But.... Last week when the speeds were great, I didn't have any disconnections, so it can onlt be that whatever I was on became as bad as the rest

Grrrrrrrr
Consistent packet loss now for the last few days as well (the 100% is where I disconnected for Tap3 testing):
