Speed Test Results - tog
We have SSE "Superfast Broadband" (Fibre to the Cabinet). This speedtest is unusually good - often around 7Mbps. We were told our minimum speed would be 22.4 Mbps!

Re: Speed test
Hi tog,
Thanks for being the first to post a speed test result !
That looks disappointing for a FTTC connection.
Is the speed test being run on a wired or wireless connection ? - Do you normally get similar results when using other speed test servers ?
Thanks

Re: Speed test
That does look disappointment, I would try and reboot the router to see if it changes/improves.
I know one of the HUKD members said about this site that tests your speed over time to give a fair speed check. Speedtest.net is just at that moment.
I don't know how reliable this site is that they mentioned and I will indeed use it myself so am quite happy to do this when my line goes live on 21st June if others don't want to try it.

Re: Speed test
That's a bit pants
Did you have fibre before, if so, what were your previous speeds?
